Fort Wilson Riot at Voltage 2011

There are scores of photos of Fort Wilson Riot. Only one set stood out to me. Dan Schulz over at Mordac really captured the feeling of the performances.

I like it, Dan. I like it.

For a refreshing take on fashion reviews, read Sarah Heuer's review of the Voltage show from her own, non-fashion educated perspective. Titled Envy, chiffon, and sublimated homoeroticism at Voltage: Fashion Amplified 2011, her piece does indeed cover those topics. It also plays directly to my interests by calling Fort Wilson Riot's Amy Hager 'the best-looking woman'. Amen, sister. Didn't I tell you they were cutie pies?

Also, don't forget to check in on my friends Tim+Thom's sugary sweet boutique aptly called You and Me. You'll about pee your pants it's so cute.

Details of my designs for Fort Wilson Riot at MNFashion's Voltage. More images to come, but I couldn't resist posting just one.

It's the Tits!

Some images from my line at LINE: An Exploration of T-shirt Graphics put on by CO Exhibitions. The opening was last Saturday and there was fun to be had for sure. If you missed it, feel free to drop by the space in NE. The show is up till April 23rd.

Now I'm off to the basement to put the finishing touches on my looks for Voltage (Have you got your tickets?)! Happy MNFashion Week!

I've been spring cleaning my computer. I found these sweet gals lurking in folders from years past. What's better than two pachyderms decked out in their finest to welcome Fashion Week to Minnesota? Not much, I dare say.

Also, act like an elephant and never forget to swing by CO Exhibition's opening for LINE, an art tee shirt show with an emphasis on amazing & over the top. See wicked lines by local artistes on April 9th. Don't pass up the opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind Carly Schoen tee!

Happy spring!

And so does everyone else

Ok, now it's official! Voltage Band designers announced. Despite the misspelling, I can easily spot my name among the line-up. This is going to be GREAT! Here's a peek at my inspiration board for the band Fort Wilson Riot. And, by the way, aren't Amy & Jacob so hawt!?! Really lucked out on getting the cutiepie band! Can't wait till April!

The Nose Knows

Not quite officially announced yet, but I'm letting it slip. I heard back from Anna Lee of MNFashion about my Voltage Band Designer application. She had good news. I'll be designing for the lovely Amy and crazy-haired Jacob of Fort Wilson Riot! I'm very honored to be chosen and have some show stopping ideas in store. See you at Voltage!
